Withdrawing or Cancelling Your Listing

How to request temporary or permanent removal of your listing from the MLS.

OnMLS Support Team··1 min read

To withdraw or cancel your listing, submit a request through your dashboard. Because listing withdrawal and cancellation are MLS-governed actions, your assigned licensed broker must approve and submit the change to the MLS. There are no cancellation fees on the Free plan.

A withdrawal temporarily removes the listing from the MLS — useful if you need time for repairs or want to re-list in a new season. Withdrawn listings can be re-activated through your broker.

A cancellation permanently closes the listing. If you decide to re-list in the future, you would start a new listing submission.

If your home is under contract, do not request a cancellation — coordinate with your broker to update the MLS status correctly. Your broker manages all MLS status changes on your behalf.

Brokerage services provided by your assigned licensed broker, a licensed brokerage. OnMLS is a technology platform that facilitates MLS listings through our licensed brokerage partner. Buyer-agent commission is separate, optional, and negotiable.
